“ Gem of a place. Great food, service and vibe. Photo is of the Oye Sandwich. Just grabbed the half and it started to fall off in a very good way. Dang, it’s a fair portion. And high quality. None of this fatty crap from NYC style delis they sneak in. ”
“ Truly a gem! The approx. one hour wait was absolutely worth it for a Sunday brunch. We got the Schnitzel Perlstein and it was fantastic ! The Schlubby Fries are so super unique - must try! ”
“ First time visiting Perly’s while traveling through Richmond, and it was such a great experience! My family and I stopped by for lunch, and everything was perfect. The staff were incredibly friendly, the food was delicious, and the portions were generous. Great value for the price. Highly recommend if you’re in RVA! ”
“ It was my first time at Perly’s, and I was blown away! Everything people rave about is absolutely true. The food was phenomenal, the ambiance was warm and inviting, but the real standout was the exceptional service from Chanel. She made the experience unforgettable. Without a doubt, this is a five-star spot that everyone visiting Richmond, Virginia, must try for breakfast! ”
“ Absolutely amazing place! I've yet to have anything not superb quality, with equally fair pricing. The Oh Vey! is a crazy classic deli sandwich, very huge. The Jewbano was also killer, messy but unhinged with flavor. The Benny Goodman is my favorite take on Eggs Benedict, super delicious The coffee was pretty solid as well, large nice mug with endless refills. Shoutout to Maggie our waitress for a great experience. If you don't want to wait for a table, I recommend getting here 20-30 min before they open. This was on a Sunday. 10/10 would recommend, unironically. ”
“ Great visit to one of Richmond’s well known breakfast spots! Visited Richmond last year and couldn’t get in due to the long wait. Came back this year and decided to wait and glad we did! Food was delicious and friendly wait staff. Highly recommend if you’re looking for Jewish-themed breakfast. ”
“ Heading to Perly's Restaurant was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, the cozy ambiance and the warm welcome from the staff set the tone for a wonderful evening. The real star of the show, however, was undoubtedly the food. Each dish we tried was bursting with flavor, expertly prepared and beautifully presented. The portions were generous, ensuring that we left not just satisfied, but delighted. A special shout-out to their fries—extra crispy and perfectly seasoned, they were absolutely irresistible! Whether you're a local or just passing through, Perly's promises a culinary adventure that's not to be missed. Highly recommend for anyone looking to indulge in some delicious, hearty meals! ”
“ For vibes, service, atmosphere this place is 10/10. Absolutely amazing. Our waiter was top notch and handled my dad’s jokes like a champ. For food, kinda mid. Nothing blew me away and the tuna salad for instance was called a dill and caper but had so little flavor we had to take some capers and dill from our families fish platter. Overall this place was fantastic and I’ll be back but that is in part due to the lack of better options and not the ridiculously outstanding flavors they served up here. Prices are also reasonable. ”
